Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Colliding With Semi Truck in Lancaster

LANCASTER, Calif., Mar. 8 (KNN) — A motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a semi on a freeway off-ramp in the city of Lancaster Thursday evening.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to a traffic collision around 8:20 p.m. at the off-ramp off the 14 Freeway and Avenue D.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a motorcyclist down with trauma injury to the leg. The patient was treated on scene and transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center.

The driver of the semi remained on scene and was cooperating with CHP officers.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
