Multiple Businesses Burglarized in Marina Del Rey

MARINA DEL REY, Calif., Feb. 27 (KNN) — Multiple store fronts were smashed overnight in a string of burglaries targeting businesses in the seaside community of Marina del Rey.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Pacific Division patrol units responded to a window smash around 1:20 a.m. at the Ulta Beauty store located in the 13400 block Maxella Avenue.

While checking the area, officers discovered that multiple businesses were hit at an adjacent shopping center in the 4200 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

The suspect(s) were able to take the cash drawer from one of the businesses and left it empty in the parking lot.

The owner of L&L Hawaiian Barbecue said off-camera that this is the second time his business had been hit in the past few weeks.

The only description available for the suspect(s) is that they were wearing a hooded jacket or sweatshirt.

There are no further details at this time.
