Multiple Fires Set in Reseda Prompts Search for Arson Suspect

RESEDA, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 12 (KNN) — Authorities and LAFD Arson investigators are currently searching for a suspect allegedly responsible for setting fires within the same area of the San Fernando Valley.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to multiple trash fires reported shortly after 12 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Vanowen Street and Reseda Boulevard in Reseda.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Arson investigators, the same suspect has been setting fires in the same area for four days in a row.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the location to assist fire department personnel with locating the suspect who was last seen riding a bicycle.

The suspect, as of today alone, has set more than five small rubbish fires along with a vehicle fire.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, LAFD Arson investigators and LAPD are investigating the incident.
