Multiple Law Enforcement Agencies Hunt Murder Suspect in Lancaster

LANCASTER, Calif., Jan. 9 (KNN) — The Los Angeles Police Department along with the FBI and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were searching for a murder suspect in the city of Lancaster around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.

The LAPD was in a brief foot pursuit after the suspect crashed his white Chrysler sedan in the desert between Ave H and Ave I.

Drones were deployed to help with the search, however as of 10:47a.m., the suspect was still outstanding. A containment was setup between 20th Street East and 30th Street East along with Avenue H and Avenue I.

Sometime before noon, additional information indicated that authorities managed to capture the suspect reportedly at a mobile home park. The exact location was not immediately known.

It is also unknown at this time where and when the murder took place that prompted a search for the suspect.
