Multiple Vehicles Burn in Apartment Complex Carport

Hollywood Hills West, Los Angeles, CA: Multiple vehicles burned in a carport late Wednesday night, Feb. 8, in the Hollywood Hills West neighborhood within the city of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded to reports of a structure fire just after 11:30 p.m. on the 1600 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard.

When crews arrived at the location, they found six vehicles in a carport of an apartment complex fully involved in flames.

Firefighters requested additional resources for the blaze that was consuming vehicles as well as the carport.

The fire was contained to the carport and did not expose the apartment units.

Wires were observed down at the scene. The cause of fire is currently under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
