NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, June 7 (KNN) — One person was left in critical condition after a shooting Thursday evening in North Hollywood.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a call regarding shots fired around 8:48 p.m. in the 7700 block of Ventura Canyon, according to Officer Miller, spokesperson for the LAPD.
One victim was transported from the scene via private vehicle to a local hospital.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the victim from a non-trauma center to a trauma center. The victim was initially reported to have suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach.
LAPD personnel were seen investigating and canvassing the cordoned off crime scene for evidence.
Miller told KNN Friday afternoon that the victim is in stable condition.
There is no one in custody at this time, according to Miller.
