Older Model Pickup Truck Catches Fire in Front of Car Dealership

Valencia, Santa Clarita, CA: A pickup truck caught fire in front of a car dealership Monday evening in the Valencia neighborhood of Santa Clarita.

Sheriff’s deputies from Newhall Station and Los Angeles County Fire Department received a call for a car fire just after 5:00 p.m., Dec. 5, in front of the Acura Dealership located on the 23900 block of Creekside Road.

Engine 126 quickly extinguished the fire that started underneath the engine in an older model Ford pickup truck.

The owner of the truck was at the location at the time of the incident.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is unknown. Westbound lane of Creekside Road was closed at the time of the incident.
