Upon arrival, fire crews reported a single-family, single-story home was fully involved in flames, as well as a boat, a semi-truck trailer, multiple classic cars, and nearby vegetation at the river bed spreading rapidly due to wind. A full structure fire response was requested for assistance, along with a level 2 vegetation response with multiple fire-fighting aircraft to assist with water drops.

A neighbor who spoke on camera claimed there were an unknown number of cats located inside the residence, and the homeowner requested the neighbor help the cats escape the fire. Unfortunately, the fire had already destroyed the residence by the time the neighbor arrived.

The vegetation fire grew to 10-15 acres, with multiple areas spotted a quarter mile ahead of itself. The home and multiple vehicles on the property were completely destroyed.

Crews are battling the fire currently and have requested more manpower to get water lines into the river bottom. Unfortunately, there are no nearby hydrants or water sources at the scene. Therefore, firefighters were relying on water tender trucks for this incident.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, and further information will be provided when available.
