Over 2500 Affected by Power Outage in Mission Hills

MISSION HILLS, LOS ANGELES, Mar. 15 (KNN) — A large area of Mission Hills and San Fernando were impacted by a power outage overnight affecting over 2500 customers, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power outage map.

The outage occurred at approximately midnight in the area of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Rinaldi Street toward Laurel Canyon and Fox Street.

Also, from Laurel Canyon and Chatsworth Street to Chatsworth and Sepulveda Boulevard, Rinaldi Street and Laurel Canyon toward Rinaldi and the 405 Freeway.

It is unclear if the outage was related to the previous day’s strong gusty winds in the area.
