Overturned Tractor-Trailer Causes Multi-Vehicle Traffic Collision on 210 Freeway

MONROVIA, Calif., Feb. 6 (KNN) — An overturned tractor-trailer on the 210 Freeway overnight resulted in a chain reaction collision involving multiple other vehicles.

The California Highway Patrol received multiple 911 calls at approximately 2:46 a.m. Tuesday, regarding an overturned tractor-trailer on the eastbound 210 Freeway just past Huntington Drive in the city of Monrovia.

CHP received additional 911 calls of a second semi with two other vehicles, striking an overturned trailer, causing a multi-vehicle traffic collision.

The Monrovia Fire Department responded to the scene and transported two victims with minor injuries. It is not known at this time if any additional victims were transported from the scene of the crash.

The number one through four lanes were closed due to debris in all lanes. CHP was in the process of trying to open up the carpool lane.

A Sig Alert was issued issued for two hours.
