Pacific Palisades Home Destroyed by Landslide After Surviving Wildfire

PACIFIC PALISADES, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 16 (KNN) – A home located in the 1700 block of Castellammare Drive unexpectedly met its demise due to a landslide despite having miraculously survived the Palisades Fire.

The landslide occurred on Wednesday when the land beneath a burned home above the now-damaged property gave way.

The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety red-tagged the home, deeming it unsafe for occupancy.

At this point, no further details regarding the incident have been made available.
