Pedestrian Fatally Struck by School Bus in La Puente

La Puente, Los Angeles County, CA: A pedestrian was struck and killed by a school bus Monday afternoon in the city of La Puente.

Industry Sheriff’s Station deputies and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a traffic collision involving a pedestrian around 2:20 p.m., May 8, on Hacienda Boulevard and Fairgrove Avenue where one school bus was found along with an unresponsive pedestrian on the ground.

Students were reportedly on the bus when the collision occurred, according to multiple news sources. No other injuries were reported.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the collision. CHP handles all traffic collisions involving school buses.
