Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Train in Huntington Park

HUNTINGTON PARK, Calif., Jan. 28 (KNN) — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Union Pacific freight train pulling tank cars near the intersection of Salt Lake and Grand Avenues.

Huntington Park police officers and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene around 9:40 p.m. Monday.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner was notified of the incident.

No further information was immediately available.
