Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Westlake Alleyway

WESTLAKE, LOS ANGELES, May 3 (KNN) — The Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Division officers responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision in an alley behind an address in the 400 block of South Alvarado Street in Westlake.

A vehicle traveling northbound through the alley shortly after 1:30 a.m. Thursday, struck the pedestrian who was pronounced deceased at the scene. There was no victim description at the time of this report.

A female, possibly the driver, was detained and released at the scene after speaking to police,
