Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Traffic Collision

HISTORIC SOUTH CENTRAL LOS ANGELES, July 21 (KNN) — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Friday night.

Los Angeles police officers and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a reported hit-and-run traffic collision at approximately 10:23 p.m. on Hill and 33rd Street in Historic South Central Los Angeles.

Arriving firefighters pronounced a pedestrian deceased at the scene.

The suspect fled the location heading northbound on Hill Street.

The LAPD was actively investigating the incident for an unknown duration.
