Downtown Los Angeles, CA: A pedestrian was struck and killed in a vehicle collision at the intersection of Palmetto and Alameda Streets at approximately 8:38 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, in the downtown area of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Police Department reported off-camera that two vehicles possibly struck the victim – one of which remained at the scene.
Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. North and southbound traffic was closed while Central Traffic LAPD officers conducted their investigation. LA County Coroner was notified.
