Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Traffic Collision in Westlake

Westlake, Los Angeles, CA: A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle that fled the scene just before 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, near the intersection of West 6th Street and South Bonnie Brae in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Police Department traffic units responded along with the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at scene.

LAPD Central Traffic Division is handling the investigation. The suspect vehicle is described as a blue truck with a grate.
