Pedestrian Killed in Valley Glen Hit-and-Run Traffic Collision

VALLEY GLEN, LOS ANGELES, June 19 (KNN) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver early Monday morning in Valley Glen.

Just after 1 a.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched to a traffic collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Bellaire Avenue and Sherman Way.

While still en route, the call was updated to note that CPR was in progress.

The LAFD arrived on scene and pronounced the patient deceased.

The Los Angeles Police Department reported that the vehicle involved in the collision left the scene and initial reports yield no vehicle description.

LAPD officers remained at the location until the investigation of the fatal collision scene was completed.
