SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES, July 10 (KNN) — A pedestrian was fatally injured in a traffic collision Tuesday night in Sherman Oaks.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel and Los Angeles police officers responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision around 10:40 p.m. in the area of Sepulveda Boulevard and Clark Street.
When the fire department arrived, they found one male deceased. The driver of the vehicle that hit the pedestrian remained at the scene.
A sergeant with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division at the scene, said on camera that it appeared the pedestrian was outside the crosswalk.
The vehicle involved was traveling northbound on Sepulveda in the number 2 lane when it collided with the pedestrian, according to the sergeant. No crime is being investigated at this time.
The pedestrian was not immediately identified.
