MID-WILSHIRE, LOS ANGELES, May 28 (KNN) — A suspect was apprehended by police at a Metro bus stop after a victim was found stabbed in the Mid-Wilshire neighborhood of Los Angeles Monday night.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division patrol units responded to the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Olympic Boulevard for reports of a stabbing victim shortly after 10:30 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located the victim with an unknown number of stab wounds.
Officers were directed to the suspect who was taken into custody at a Metro bus stop. The victim was transported in unknown condition to a local hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.
The LAPD could not confirm to KNN at this time if the victim was stabbed on a bus or at the bus stop.
There are no further details.
