Pomona police officers along with the Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatched to a multi-vehicle traffic collision at approximately 9 p.m. at the intersection of North Garey Avenue and West Orange Grove Avenue.

Upon arrival, four people were found to be injured. All four were transported by ambulance to a local hospital with minor to severe injuries, reported the Pomona PD in a statement regarding the collision.

A worker at the nearby Del Taco who declined an on camera interview with KNN, said she was inside taking orders when she heard the loud crash. The Del Taco employee also said most of the officers and firefighters were focused on the black SUV.

Pomona PD had a large area cordoned off and all traffic was diverted away from the scene. PPD said the crash is being investigated by their Major Accident Investigation Team, (MAIT).

Anyone with information about this collision is encouraged to call the Pomona Police Department’s Traffic Services Bureau at (909) 802-7741 or (909) 620-2048.
