APPLE VALLEY, Calif., Jan. 6 (KNN) — Three subjects were taken into custody by authorities after a pursuit came to a destructive end involving residential property damage in the town of Apple Valley.
According to officials, a pursuit was initiated shortly after midnight Monday near the intersection of Yucca Loma Road and Apple Valley Road for reasons yet to be released.
The pursuit terminated after the vehicle driver lost control and crashed into a residence fence on Mohawk Road, approximately four miles from its start. In the process, the driver damaged a neighboring property’s fence and mailboxes.
The three occupants of the vehicle foot-bailed and were taken into custody shortly thereafter by deputies without further incident.
One of the three subjects was determined to be a minor, with the remaining two also possibly minors.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Apple Valley Station is handling the investigation.
