Pursuit Ends in Multi-Vehicle Crash; 6 Injured Including Child

VALLEY GLEN, LOS ANGELES, July 24 (KNN) — A police pursuit of a suspect ended in a traffic collision involving a total of five vehicles and injuring six victims in the Valley Glen neighborhood within the San Fernando Valley.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a reported traffic collision shortly after 7 p.m. Monday on the 12700 block of West Vanowen Street and found five vehicles that were involved in a collision with no patients trapped, according to the LAFD.

Five adult patients and one pediatric patient were transported from the scene, reported spokesperson Nicholas Prange with the LAFD.

Key News Network video from the location shows the damaged vehicles as well as an injured patient handcuffed to a gurney as he was loaded into an ambulance. There was a large police presence at the scene.
