Reckless Motorcyclist Evades CHP During Pursuit in Downtown Los Angeles

Downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA: A reckless motorcyclist evaded authorities during a pursuit which led officers into Downtown Los Angeles early Sunday morning.

California Highway Patrol initiated a pursuit of a motorcyclist in Rancho Cucamonga due to a high rate of speed just after 1:00 a.m. Feb. 19.

The chase led to a high-speed pursuit where the suspect reached speeds of over 120 mph.

The pursuit continued along into Downtown Los Angeles where the suspect drove recklessly through the city, including riding on sidewalks.

Air support lost the suspect around Figueroa and Exposition Boulevard.

The suspect remains at large.
