VALENCIA, SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Aug. 11 (KNN) — The Viper roller coaster experienced a malfunction resulting in at least a dozen riders trapped on the attraction Sunday evening at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia.
Six Flags safety team members ascended an emergency stairwell to make access to the riders.
After about 30 minutes, the riders were taken off the ride and directed down stairs to the ground. Per Six Flags information at the scene, staff focused on an issue with the ride’s compressor.
It is currently unknown if there were any injuries reported.
