Rollover Crash Into Transformer Takes Out Power in San Fernando Neighborhood

SAN FERNANDO, Calif., Apr. 18 (KNN) — A portion of a San Fernando neighborhood was plunged into darkness after a vehicle struck a transformer Wednesday night.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department and San Fernando Police Department responded to a reported vehicle rollover traffic collision around 9:45 p.m. in the 1300 block of Truman Avenue.

The person involved in the collision was transported to a local hospital by LAFD paramedics. The patient’s condition is unknown.

SoCal Edison was en route to handle the downed wires and broken transformer box.
