Roommate Dispute Leaves 1 Wounded in Van Nuys Shooting

VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 14 (KNN) — A roommate dispute led to a shooting that left one female wounded early Sunday morning in Van Nuys.

Shortly before 4 a.m., Los Angeles police officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Kittridge Street for a 911 call from an individual who claimed to have shot their roommate after a dispute.

Upon arrival at the location, officers found one female suffering from a gunshot wound to her face and requested an ambulance for transport.

LAPD officers took the suspect into custody and Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital. She was reported to be in stable condition at that time.
