SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES, Dec. 12 (KNN) — Firefighters worked to save a building from catching fire after finding nearby trash and a tree ablaze.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a tree fire around 12:16 a.m. Thursday in the 13600 block of Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks
Upon arrival on the backside of the building, firefighters discovered a tree and rubbish on fire, exposing a one-story commercial building.
LAFD crews quickly knocked down the flames, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.
