Evacuation orders were in place Monday afternoon for residents in the area but have since been lifted as of 8:30 p.m.

Warren Road was also opened around that time between Ramona Expressway and Esplanade Avenue, announced CalFIRE.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department had assisted the fire department with mandatory and voluntary evacuation orders.

At 8:37 p.m., CalFIRE reported in a tweet that the fire remained at 328 acres and 20% contained.

An update is expected Tuesday morning as firefighters remain on the scene throughout the night to further contain the flames.

Justin, a homeowner on one the streets threatened by the flames, was interviewed by Key News Network and said the fire department did a really good job protecting the homes.

“Very, very impressive to watch,” he said.

An updated Tuesday evening tweet from CalFIRE stated the fire remains at 90% contained.
