SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Dec. 24 (KNN) — Workers at the Santa Clarita Valley’s unionized Starbucks locations have joined their colleagues in a national strike. This comes after the multinational coffee chain and the Starbucks Workers United union failed to come to an agreement on a contract.
Workers in many metropolitan areas across the United States are striking in what the SWU calls “Twas the strike before Christmas.”
Key News spoke to Silas Starling on camera, a Starbucks employee who was striking outside a Santa Clarita Starbucks in the 23700 block of Newhall Avenue late Sunday afternoon.
