ACTON, Calif., Sept. 30 (KNN) — Officers from the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to the Vincent Gray train station in Acton for a report of a person stabbed on a Metrolink train late Sunday evening.
Upon arrival, CHP officers and deputies from Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Palmdale Station located at least one victim suffering from stab wounds. The victim was quickly transported to a local area hospital.
Law enforcement officers immediately located the alleged suspect, who was not compliant and invasive to officers. After a brief time, officers detained the suspect and removed him from the metro train.
This incident delayed several passengers from reaching their destination. A KNN video journalist observed someone exiting the train and calling relatives to pick them up.
The cause of this incident is unknown. However, some passengers who declined to speak on camera did say that this altercation started over an argument. Law enforcement officials refused to make a statement at the time of this report.
There is no additional information at this time.
