Semi, Several Vehicles Involved in Pearblossom Multi-Injury Traffic Collision

PEARBLOSSOM, Calif., May 25 (KNN) — Multiple people were injured in a traffic collision involving a semi truck and several vehicles Friday evening.

Officers with the California Highway Patrol and paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the intersection of 106th Street East and Pearblossom Highway in the city of Pearblossom, just east of Palmdale, for a reported traffic collision involving a semi truck and several vehicles.

Upon arrival, paramedics located multiple people trapped inside vehicles and suffering from injuries due to the collision.

At least one person was airlifted to a trauma center and at least three others were transported by ambulance to local area hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately known.

The cause of the collision is unclear at this time.

CHP is investigating the injury traffic collision.
