FONTANA, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 4 (KNN) — A semi-truck crashed at an intersection in Fontana Friday morning, leaving a hydrant sheared and water gushing skyward.
Just after 9:00 a.m., the Fontana Police Department responded to reports of a traffic collision at the intersections of Slover and Sierra avenues in Fontana.
Upon arrival, personnel located one semi-truck and trailer overturned in eastbound lanes on Sierra Avenue. The semi-truck sheared a fire hydrant, which then caused a substantial amount of water to shoot into the air and onto the roadway.
Crews were at the scene for cleanup and investigations.
The cause of the collision is under investigation, and injuries are unknown at this time.
