Semi Truck, Passenger Vehicle Collide in Lancaster Leaving 1 Driver Severely Injured

LANCASTER, Calif., July 10 (KNN) — A serious traffic collision involving a semi truck and passenger vehicle left both drivers injured – one severely – late Tuesday night.

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the scene of a traffic collision that occurred around 10:23 p.m. on 20th Street East and Avenue E in the city of Lancaster. California Highway Patrol officers also responded to the incident.

The female occupant of the vehicle sustained severe injuries and was transported to a medical facility for treatment. The driver of the semi truck reported shoulder pain and was also receiving medical attention.

The cause of the collision is currently unknown and under investigation by authorities.
