Senior Citizen Caught in Crossfire, 2 Others Wounded in Lancaster Shooting

LANCASTER, Calif., Mar. 17 (KNN) — A senior citizen was caught in the crossfire of a shooting in broad daylight Saturday afternoon at a liquor store in the city of Lancaster.

Deputies responded to the intersection of Avenue K and Challenger Way just before 4 p.m. where they found shattered glass and evidence of a shooting.

Minutes later, two gunshot victims were dropped off at the local hospital, and it was discovered that a female senior citizen had also been shot in the leg while driving home. First responders rushed to her aid and transported her to the hospital.

The suspects, who fled in a black Honda Civic, are still at large at this time.
