STUDIO CITY, LOS ANGELES, June 13 (KNN) — Classrooms were flooded at a Studio City school when a hydrant was sheared late afternoon Tuesday.
The Los Angeles Fire Depaetment responded to a report of flooding around 5:23 p.m. at the intersection of North Avenue Del Sol and North Coldwater Canyon Avenue in Studio City.
Upon arriving on scene, firefighters found a large water flow from a sheared hydrant behind St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church which began flooding the classrooms located to the rear of the church.
The LAFD has since shut off the waterline and continued to work with other agencies to mitigate the damage from the water.
