Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County, CA: A Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputy was rushed to a trauma center in unknown condition, according to fire department officials.
The transport was effected after a request for an ambulance and paramedics was made from the station locker room.
The incident was first reported to the Los Angeles County Fire Department at 1:59 p.m. Friday.
Firefighters, paramedics, EMTs and a battalion chief responded to the station and the first unit arrived at 2:05 p.m.
A convoy of Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department units, fire personnel, an ambulance and battalion chief arrived at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital around 2:27 p.m.
It remains unclear what happened to the deputy.
