Shooting at Newhall Birthday Party Caught on Camera

NEWHALL, SANTA CLARITA, CA, Aug. 19 (KNN) — A shooting at a child’s birthday party was caught on camera Saturday night.

The incident unfolded shortly after 9 p.m. on 14th Street near Chestnut Street in the city of Santa Clarita’s Newhall neighborhood.

Home surveillance video shows the moments multiple shots rang out with audible gunshots.

Deputies contained the area and located multiple shell casings from two different weapons. A white Honda Civic parked curbside in the street was examined by deputies and appeared to have damage possibly related to the shooting.

The incident remains under investigation as deputies search for clues.

All suspects remain outstanding.
