Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: Two people were fatally shot, possibly multiple others wounded in a shooting Wednesday night at an Inn located in the city of Lancaster.
Just after 9 p.m., June 7, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call regarding a shooting at the Americas Best Value Inn on the 44000 block of Sierra Highway.
Upon arrival, Lancaster deputies discovered at least two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Two male adult victims were transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased, LASD stated in a news release regarding the incident.
According to witness statements on scene, there may have been as many as four people shot. The LASD has not released any information at this point regarding the condition of those additional victims allegedly wounded in the shooting.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting is still under investigation by LASD Homicide investigators. There is no suspect information or additional details at this time.
