Shooting Leaves Man Dead in Van Nuys

VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Feb. 3 (KNN) — The Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Division officers responded to reports of a shooting overnight with a victim down.

The shooting occurred around 2:15 a.m. Saturday in the 14100 block of Delano Street in Van Nuys. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 30-year-old male not conscious and not breathing.

Initial reports from the scene indicated the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced deceased at the location.

Officers were observed investigating the shooting within the contained area of the crime scene. No further information was immediately available.
