PANORAMA CITY, LOS ANGELES, Aug. 23 (KNN) — A driver shot during an argument ended up slamming into a fence in Panorama City early Friday morning.
Los Angeles police officers responded to a call of a gunshot victim at 1:25 a.m. in the 9000 block of Van Nuys Boulevard.
When units arrived, they found one victim who had crashed his car into an apartment complex fence after being shot. The patient was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
The victim, a man between 40-50 years old, was driving his vehicle when he became involved in a verbal argument with a pedestrian. The pedestrian fired a shot at the victim, then fled on foot, according to Officer Drake Madison, spokesperson for the LAPD. The victim was listed in critical condition as of 5:30 a.m. Friday.
There is no suspect in custody at this time.
