SIMI VALLEY, Calif., Jan. 24 (KNN) — A driver was trapped and critically injured after two vehicles collided in the city of Simi Valley Tuesday night.
Simi Valley police officers and Ventura County Fire Department personnel responded to a two-vehicle traffic collision shortly after 9 p.m. on First Street over the 118 Freeway.
The driver of one of the vehicles involved was reported to be trapped in critical condition and was extricated by the VCFD then transported to a trauma center.
A second patient in the other vehicle was also transported to a trauma center in unknown condition.
There are no further details at this time.
