Single-Vehicle Crash Downs Power Pole, Causes Outage in Chatsworth

CHATSWORTH, LOS ANGELES, Nov. 12 (KNN)—An area of Chatsworth was left without power after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole late Monday night.

Los Angeles police officers responded to a traffic collision involving a power pole in the 9600 block of North Topanga Canyon Boulevard, where one person was briefly trapped and freed by first responders.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported three individuals to a local hospital. Their conditions were unknown at the time of transport.

Power was out at businesses near the intersection of Topanga Canyon and Lassen. LAPD Valley Traffic Division is handling the investigation.
