Single-Vehicle Fiery Crash in Paramount Leaves Burn Victim Hospitalized

PARAMOUNT, Calif., Aug. 21 (KNN) — A car crash early Wednesday morning led to a vehicle bursting into flames and one person suffering from burn injuries, according to initial reports.

The incident occurred around 1:18 a.m. in the 6800 block of Rosecrans Avenue in the city of Paramount. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene.

Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered the vehicle engulfed in flames. Firefighters immediately worked to douse the fire. One person with burn injuries was transported from the scene to a local medical center.

The extent of the patient’s injuries remains unclear, and authorities have yet to confirm additional details regarding the cause of the crash.
