VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 4 (KNN) — The entrance to a smoke shop in Van Nuys was torn apart by burglary suspects early Wednesday morning.
Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Division responded to a break-in at a smoke shop in the 14400 block of Sherman Way shortly after 3 a.m.
Arriving officers found twisted metal from a broken gate and shattered glass outside the shop, remnants of the brazen burglary.
The suspects fled the scene before police arrived. At this time, it is unknown if the suspects stole anything.
It appeared the business owner(s) also responded to the scene. The burglary is currently under investigation.
