Snowy Freeway Roads Lead to Crashes in Mojave

Mojave, Kern County, CA: Light snow falling on the 58 and 14 Freeways early Wednesday morning, Feb. 22, was enough to coat the roads, making travel a challenge in Mojave.

Key News Network at the location captured a few vehicles that had crashed off the roadway with a trail of tire tracks through the snowy ground.

According to California Highway Patrol officers on scene, all occupants of vehicles shown in KNN video did not suffer major or fatal injuries.

Multiple weather warnings for areas throughout the Southland include a winter storm warning, winter weather advisory, blizzard warning, flood watch, high wind and surf advisories. The advisories, watches and warnings were all issued today with some expiring as soon as tomorrow while others are expiring on Feb. 25.
