Solo Semi Rolls Over in Crash on 99 Freeway

Bakersfield, Kern County, CA: A semi truck landed on its side after crashing on the 99 Freeway late Thursday evening.

California Highway Patrol responded to a call of an expanded traffic collision at approximately 7:47 p.m., May 11, involving a semi on its side on the 99 Freeway in the area between Taft Highway and Houghton Road in the city of Bakersfield.

Once on scene, CHP reported a solo vehicle crash with no one injured at the location.

All southbound traffic lanes were reduced to slow speeds in the area of the crash.
