Newhall, Santa Clarita, CA: Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Newhall Station deputies responded to a solo vehicle collision involving a light post Sunday night, Jan. 8, around 8:30 p.m. at Valle Del Oro and Deputy Jake Drive in the Newhall community of the city of Santa Clarita.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a female solo occupant of the vehicle sitting on the sidewalk next to her damaged vehicle and surrounded by witnesses who were waiting for law enforcement.

Both sides of the street on Valle Del Oro at Deputy Jake Drive were closed due to the patient being treated.

She was later transported by AMR ambulance to a local hospital for injuries to her left arm.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
