SpaceX Starlink Launch Over Simi Valley

SIMI VALLEY, Calif., Dec. 4 (KNN) — According to a press release via SpaceX, “SpaceX is targeting Wednesday, Dec. 4, for a Falcon 9 launch of 20 Starlink satellites, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities, to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The four-hour launch window opens at 4:06 p.m. PT. If needed, an additional launch opportunity is available on Thursday, Dec. 5.

This is the 12th flight for the first-stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Crew 7, CRS-29, NROL-186, EarthCARE, PACE, Transporter-10, and five Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship, which will be stationed in the Pacific Ocean.”

Launch caught on video over Simi Valley around 7:05 p.m. Wednesday.
