Spectators, Street Takeovers Shut Down Intersections in San Fernando Valley

SUN VALLEY, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 12 (KNN) — The Los Angeles Police Department contended with street takeovers and spectators in multiple intersections Monday night.

A crowd of over 150 spectators gathered to watch cars do donuts and take over intersections throughout the San Fernando Valley.

Spectators crowded the intersection of Strathern Street and Whitsett Avenue in Sun Valley around 11 p.m. to watch vehicles smoke spinning tires and perform donuts.

Los Angeles Police Department patrol units broke up over 10 different street takeover locations in the San Fernando Valley during the night.
